Cutting weight for competition is a reality in combat sports—but it should be done safely. At ATTPBG, we guide our fighters through structured, healthy approaches to dropping weight without risking health or performance.

Here are some coach-approved weight cut tips:

  • Start Early: Don’t leave it to the final week. Begin trimming water and carbs gradually.
  • Stay Hydrated: Water loading works—but only when done properly. Never dehydrate drastically.
  • Avoid Crash Diets: Focus on lean proteins, high-quality carbs, and micronutrients.
  • Talk to Your Coaches: We’ve cut weight ourselves. Lean on us.

Weight cutting done wrong can ruin your performance—or worse, your health. At ATTPBG, we help you make weight while staying sharp, strong, and safe.
