Is MMA training safe for beginners?
Yes. Beginners are introduced to MMA through structured training that combines Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Muay Thai, wrestling, and controlled drilling. Students build skills progressively before engaging in any advanced or live training.
At ATTPBG, safety is not assumed — it is verified. We are an Academy Safe certified martial arts academy, meaning we meet eight nationally recognized safety standards, including:

This ensures a professionally supervised and safety-first training environment for students in North Palm Beach and surrounding areas.
Do I need prior martial arts experience to start MMA?
No experience is required. Many students begin MMA training by first developing fundamentals in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Muay Thai, or wrestling. Our coaching staff helps guide each student based on experience and goals.
What disciplines are included in your MMA program?
Our MMA program integrates Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Muay Thai, wrestling, and cage strategy. Students learn striking, grappling, takedowns, positional control, and transitions between ranges.
Will I have to spar or fight?
No. Sparring is structured and introduced only when students are technically prepared. Competition is optional and available only for those who choose to pursue it.
Is MMA good for fitness?
Yes. MMA training builds strength, endurance, mobility, coordination, and mental resilience. It is one of the most comprehensive full-body training methods available.
Do you train competitive fighters?
Yes. ATTPBG supports amateur and professional fighters while maintaining a welcoming environment for recreational students.
Can teens train in the MMA program?
Yes. Mature teens can train in our MMA program under structured supervision with age-appropriate progression.
How often should I train MMA?
Most students train 3–5 times per week depending on their goals, whether for fitness, skill development, or competition.
